Whether it's checking out amazing Joe Hisaishi concert footage or this amazing Castle in the Sky music box, there are plenty of awesome ways to enjoy the charming and nostalgic music of Studio Ghibli films. For those looking to get an assorted mix of those beloved tunes in one place, the Radio Ghibli music mix just might be the fix you're looking for.

Originally released in January, NTS Radio put out this 1986-1992 one hour play list of music featured from the soundtracks on several classic Studio Ghibli films, mixed by Sega Bodega. This initial release contains music from My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, Grave of the Firelies, Porco Rosso, and Only Yesterday. While these aren't full soundtracks, they provide a quick fix of the most memorable tunes from those films for you to fall in love with all over again.

A recently released edition lets you hear a mix of music from Studio Ghibli films released between 1994-2001. This playlist includes the memorable scores of Princess Mononoke, Pom Poko, My Neighbors the Yamadas, and Spirited Away.

The series is planned to be a three-parter, so be sure to follow NTS Radio for the finale. With three one-hour playlists of Studio Ghibli music, fans should have some concise and timely background music to make their daily commute and routine all the more wonderful.
