If you were a kid growing up with Sanrio toys in the ‘90s, chances are you remember Keroppi, the googly-eyed frog that first came out as an official character in 1988. Along with characters like Spottie Dottie, Bad Badtz-Maru, and Chococat, Keroppi represented the childhoods of all Sanrio fans during the glorious years of their reign. Though his once-devoted fans are now adults, they can now relive the good old days at Japan’s first-ever limited time Keroppi Cafe, which opened recently inside the Keikyu Department Store in Kanagawa Prefecture’s Kamiōoka Station.

The Kero Kero Keroppi Cafe is located on the 4th floor of the department store, and has been serving up adorably fun dishes since its grand opening on April 20th. The menu includes Keroppi’s Sunday Curry, Good★Night Omurice, Keroppi’s Musical Concert Hotcake Plate, and Keroppi’s Happy Tapioca Matcha Milk, among a variety of other food and drink items for wistful customers to enjoy.

Despite being open for less than a week, hundreds of people have already made a trip to the Keroppi Cafe to revisit their childhood days and devour some delicious food.

In addition to the cafe, the Keikyu Department Store will also be holding a Keroppi Fair on the 5th floor from April 27th to May 10th. There, customers can get their hands on Keroppi t-shirts, totes, and other goods to commemorate the special occasion.
