One of the best ways to make the most of the scalding summer heat in Japan is to go out dressed in a beautiful yukata, a type of casual summer kimono often worn by men and women heading out to watch fireworks or spend an evening with friends. The excitement of preparing a yukata weeks before an event is incomparable to any other shopping experience, but anyone going to the Yukata Beer Garden event being held at the Yokohama Marine Tower can experience that and so much more.

Until September 10th, guests at the Yukata Beer Garden can not only devour all the food and drinks their hearts desire, but they can also take home a full yukata set complete with a yukata, obi sash, and geta sandals. Better yet, they'll be able to pick their favorite out of over 100 pieces and get dressed with the help of professionals, all before taking their seats at the beer garden for a delightful summer feast.

Although we've seen other facilities offer take-home yukata sets for female guests, this opportunity can be taken full advantage of by both men and women. With that said, entry fees do vary at 12,000 yen (USD$107) for women and 14,000 yen (USD$125) for men. But all guests will get the chance to fill their stomachs with delicious food and drinks, as well as an opportunity to go up to the observation floor of the Marine Tower located 100-meters (328-feet) above the breathtaking city landscape.
