Regarding Article Publication on grape

As of December 5, 2016, our editorial team established the “Ethics, Legal Compliance, and Copyright Policy Committee” and we publish articles with respect for copyright.

When the main content of an article features material from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, blogs, etc., grape obtains individual permission for use.

When permission is granted by the original poster, we publish the content using appropriate embedding, linking, or citation.

  • Articles will include the name of the original poster and the source, with links provided.
  • If requested by the original poster, we may publish the article anonymously.
  • If the original poster requests corrections or removal of the article, we will promptly comply.
  • Unless grape has specifically requested the creation of content, we ask for permission to use the content free of charge.
  • Copyright of the original post remains with the original poster.
  • Articles on grape may be shared on our social media platforms such as Facebook, X (Twitter), and YouTube for the purpose of directing readers to the article.
In such cases, we may include images or videos in the social media posts.
  • Articles may also be distributed to partner news media with which we collaborate.
  • They may appear on grape (our Japanese-language media for domestic audiences: https://grapee.jp/) or grape Japan (our English-language media for international audiences: https://grapee.jp/en/).
In such cases, the articles may also be posted to our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
